IT'S the moment avocado lovers have all been waiting for...
Glasgow's hippiest new restaurant Avo Avo has finally opened.
The Evening Times first reported the exciting news in August which our readers went berserk over.
And this weekend was the official opening of the new eatery, based in Finnieston at 946 Argyle Street
Avo Avo is dedicated to the green fruit and is serving up the likes of avocado smoothies, burgers and ice-cream.
Foodies have not been left disappointed by the new restaurant, judging by the reviews so far.

Not to mention that the team at Avo Avo ordered 2000 avocados for the opening and ran out.
Luckily they have restocked in time for more hungry foodies today.
Lynsey Wight said: "Was in the restaurant last night and had Avo Avo mac and cheese followed by the dark chocolate cake and both were amazing.
"First class service from all the team and looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of the menu."
