YOUNGSTERS and their parents learned life-saving skills to mark the start of Scottish First Aid Week.
The event was organised at Glasgow’s Grand Central hotel by the charity St Andrew’s First Aid.
Trainers provided demonstrations on how to perform CPR and respond to a variety of other emergency situations including choking.
During the coming week, volunteers from the charity will be delivering a series of first aid demonstrations at community venues across Scotland including Glasgow, Ayr, Carluke, Calvary, Perth and Edinburgh Waverley Station.
The events are free and members of the public are being encouraged to go along and learn basic first aid skills, which could help them save a life.
