A young man who has gone missing from Maryhill was last seen in a 'confused state'.

Thomas Keenan has not been seen since 5.55am on Tuesday November 21 when he was seen 'confused' in Esso Service Station on Maryhill Road.

The 21-year-old from Kelvinside Avenue is said to be suffering from personal issues and is likely to be in a very anxious state.

Police have said they are extremely concerned for his welfare as he is not dressed for cold weather.

Thomas is described as around 5ft 11, slim build, clean shaven with brown wavy hair.

When last seen he was wearing a pair of dark shorts with the ‘Nike’ logo on the left leg, a red T-shirt with black motif on the front and white and black training shoes.

Inspector Craig Walker at Maryhill said: “We understand that Thomas is suffering from some personal issues and is likely to be in a very anxious/confused state at this time.

“Due to the bad weather just now and the fact that he is not dressed accordingly we are becoming increasing concerned for his wellbeing.

“I urge anyone who has seen Thomas since 0555 hrs on Tuesday 21 November or anyone who knows of his present whereabouts to contact police at Maryhill immediately via 101, quoting incident number 1274 of 21 November 2017. I also appeal to Thomas himself to contact police to let us know he is safe and well.”
