A thug threatened a woman and baby with a knife at an address in the Knightswood area.

The man entered a property in Fulwood Avenue around 4.50pm on Friday November 17.

Inside, he threatened the 48-year-old woman, who was carrying a baby, with a knife.

The suspect made off when the woman shouted to her teenage son, who was upstairs at the time, to call the police.

Another man was standing in the driveway at the time and both men ran in the direction of Kelso Street.

The first man is described as around 6ft tall and was wearing a dark coloured parka jacket with a fur-lined hood and a dark blue and green tartan scarf.

The man standing in the driveway is described as wearing a dark coloured jacket.

Detective Constable Greg Stewart from Drumchapel CID said: “Thankfully nobody was hurt but this was still a terrifying experience for the woman and her family.

“Extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace the men involved and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Fulwood Avenue on Thursday afternoon and may have noticed men matching the above descriptions, or anything at all suspicious, to please get in touch.
