Saltcoats
A pensioner who was attacked outside of a pub in Saltcoats has died.
The 66-year-old man was involved in an altercation on Green Street, after leaving a pub around 7.30pm.
He succumbed to his injuries in hospital on Thursday.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A 16-year-old man was due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Thursday November 233 in connection with the alleged attempted murder
