Celtic have today released a heartwarming short Christmas feature with some very famous faces.

The two-and-a-half-minute long film tells the story of three generations of the Maguire family, travelling home to spend the festive season together and, unknowingly, they are aided on their journey to Paradise by an array of Celtic stars.

Manager Brendan Rodgers, captain Scott Brown and, Player of the Year Scott Sinclair are among the many first-team stars showcasing their talents beyond the field of play.

They are ably assisted in delivering a safe landing by air stewards Scott Sinclair, Mikael Lustig, and Celtic Women’s team captain, Kelly Clark.

Leigh Griffiths, a driving force behind much of last season’s success, has been promoted from his role as elf on the shelf in last year’s film, and has his hands firmly on the wheel as taxi driver.

Other players including Kieran Tierney, Patrick Roberts, and Moussa Dembele make sparkling guest appearances.

With 2017 having commemorated the Lisbon Lions’ 50th anniversary year, Lisbon Lion John Clark makes a special guest appearance and Hoops legend Danny McGrain - one of the finest Celtic players to grace the Hoops in the club’s illustrious 130-year history - plays an assured role.

Craig Gordon, once again, saves the day as the Maguire family reach their final destination, “joyful and triumphant,” at Celtic Park.
