TWO people have been treated by paramedics after a car overturned on the M74 on Monday morning.
The incident happened close to junction five of the Motorway which provides exits for Bellshill, Coatbridge, East Kilbride and Edinburgh.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed that one person was taken to hospital while another was treated by paramedics. Their injuries are unknown.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We received a call at 11.49am on Monday to attend a road traffic collision near junction five on the M74.
“We dispatched an ambulance, our paramedic response unit, the trauma team and our Helimed air ambulance to the scene.”
The incident caused delays across three lanes on the busy stretch of road.
