A YOUNG Linwood man who sent an abusive email to Glasgow City Council has changed his ways since becoming a father.
Craig Chamberlain emailed the council's processions department between January 20 and 22, 2015 with a threatening message that contained sectarian remarks.
In defence it was claimed that the 26-year-old accepted full responsibility for his actions and was described as immature at the time of the incident.
Chamberlain has since pulled away from his old social circle and is a changed man following the birth of his now six-month-old child.
Sheriff Mary McCrory sentenced the accused to a Community Payback Order with 120 hours of unpaid work to be completed within six months.
Chamberlain, of Ryewraes Road, was also fined £75 for failing to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court without a reasonable excuse at an earlier date.
