TWO teenage boys found themselves in the dock for acting like yobs.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court, one admitted assaulting a 14-year-old schoolboy in Milton Road, Kirkintilloch, on May 25 last year.
The now 17-year-old accused pleaded guilty to punching his victim and headbutting him.
The complainer, who was picked up by his mum after the beating, was taken to the police station to make a report and then rushed to hospital where it was discovered he had swelling to the back of his head.
The accused, of Twechar, was sentenced to a Community Payback Order with 12 months supervision and 150 hours of unpaid work to be completed within six months.
A second teen admitted causing a breach of the peace and hitting a male with a bottle in Waverley Park, Kirkintilloch, on July 13, 2016. The accused, who was 17 at the time of the incident, will be sentenced on January 11.
