A VULNERABLE teenage girl who went missing after a trip to the cinema has been found.

Vanessa Cinova - who lives in Hamilton but is from Govanhill - disappeared after going to the Vue cinema in Hamilton on Wednesday, December 6.

Police issued a call to the public to help find the 14-year-old as she had no mobile phone or money with her.

Vanessa had been seen getting on a train from Hamilton to Glasgow.

The teenager was then seen on Stockwell Street, Glasgow, believed to be getting onto a 75/76 bus which travels through Govanhill.

She had previously gone missing and usually turns up with family and friends in Govanhill.

Vanessa has now been found safe and well in Glasgow.

Appealing for information, Inspector Mann of Cathcart Police Station, had said: “Vanessa is vulnerable in the fact that she is very young and has some health issues which she requires treatment for.

“She has been missing before and has in the past been traced to the Govanhill area of Glasgow where she has family and friends.

"However, so far no one there has heard of or seen her recently.

“We are checking with all of her known friends and family, however as yet no one has had any contact with her.

“I would ask that anyone who knows where she is get in touch with police.

Vanessa was described as 5ft 4in height, of slim build, with a sallow/tanned complexion, brown eyes and collar length black hair that is sometimes worn in a top bun - as she had on Wednesday night.

She had been wearing camel coloured trousers, a grey t-shirt, black Adidas jacket and white trainers and hoop earrings.

Inspector Mann had added: "She is only a young girl.

"She doesn’t have any immediate access to a mobile and we do not believe she has any money with her.

"We need to find Vanessa urgently and make sure she is safe and well.”
