A MAN and a woman ended up in the dock following a rammy at a block of flats in the city’s Gorbals area.
Brian Duffy, 41, and Tracey Rooney, 42, appeared in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
The pair had both been involved in a disturbance at Waddell Court on July 15, this year.
Duffy admitted to acting in an aggressive manner, shouting, swearing and brandishing a knife.
He also plead guilty to having a knife in his possession without reasonable excuse.
Rooney assaulted another woman. She admitted that she grabbed the woman by her body, pulled her to the ground and grabbed her by the hair. She also punched the woman on the head.
Duffy, of St Andrews Road, had been taking cocaine before the incident.
The court heard that he had a good work ethic up until 2014 when he injured his hand.
Rooney, of Old Rutherglen Road, became engaged with a fight with the other woman but took it too far, her defence agent said.
Duffy will complete 225 hours of unpaid work in the community within six months. He was also placed under supervision for 15 months and will be back in court for a review in February. This was an alternative to custody.
Rooney was fined £450 which was reduced from £500 because of her early guilty plea.
