Heavy snowfall across parts of the UK is causing widespread disruption to Scottish flights.

All flights to and from Birmingham Airport were temporarily suspended on Sunday morning after snow closed the runway.

Warnings of flight cancellations and delays were also issued for Luton Airport due to poor weather conditions.

Heathrow Airport has also been affected.

Because of this, many flights from Glasgow and Edinburgh airports have been affected.

The 3.25pm British Airways flight from Glasgow Airport to Heathrow has been cancelled, and the 1.50pm flight departing from Edinburgh.

EasyJet afternoon flights going from Edinbugh Airport to Luton are no longer departing.

A 1.30pm KLM flight from Glasgow to Amsterdam has been cancelled and trips to Birmingham and Stansted are also closed down.
