Former Rangers star Nacho Novo has hit out over claims his new Glasgow pub charges £4 a pint.
The Ibrox legend opened NN10 last month but has been forced to defend his new boozer over his prices for drink.
Nacho posted on Facebook: "A big thank you to all who have paid us a visit since we opened 10 days past.
"We are delighted by your great support and contribution to our success so far.
"Unfortunately, our amazing start has led to some kill joys posting some untruths re our pricing and services.
"For those who haven’t yet experienced the reality of same, don’t be put off by these falsehoods.
"Pay us a visit, come see for yourself and enjoy! We’re aye ready and a big welcome awaits. Nacho."
The 38-year-old launched his new venture after revamping the Angel Bar on Paisley Road West but, since his grand opening, he says he has faced 'gossiping from other bars'.
He said: "So again today gossiping from other bars. Claiming we charge £4 a pint that’s totally incorrect.
"We charge the same as everyone else on the street. Shame people feel they have to spread gossip.
"We are looking forward to seeing forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday for the game."
Rangers fans were quick to defend their Ibrox hero's new pub.
Joe Gilmour posted: "A great pub, brilliant staff, and surroundings are second to none."
While Mary Mccaig added: "Was there on Sunday and it was a brilliant night. Staff an Novo's wife were lovely an also met some new friends. Will definitely be back."
