SEVERAL people have been arrested after drugs worth £170,000 were recovered during a number of raids. 

Officers from the Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit (West) searched a house in Motherwell and two houses in the Dennistoun and Parkhead areas of Glasgow on Tuesday.

They recovered a quantity of drugs, believed to be heroin and cocaine, with an estimated street value of one hundred and seventy thousand pounds £170,000.

A 25-year-old woman and two men aged 24 and 27 years of age have been arrested and are presently detained in police custody in connection with the recoveries. Police enquiries are continuing.

A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
