EMERGENCY services are dealing with an incident in Glasgow city centre close to Queen Street train station.
Police have cordoned off the Dundas Lane which sits between Buchanan Street and Queen Street in Glasgow city centre.
Officers have guarded each side of the lane which features entrances to popular pub Waxy O'Connor's and bookmakers Ladbrokes.
Police Scotland confirmed that they were called to the lane after a man in his 60s had taken ill.
The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed that they have taken one patient to hospital.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 8.30am today to attend an address on Dundas Lane in Glasgow.
“We dispatched one ambulance, our paramedic response unit and an advanced paramedic to the scene.
“One patient was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary accompanied by our advanced paramedic.”
