Several cars have been involved in a serious road traffic accident on the M77 South.
The accident has caused major tailbacks between junction three and four with delays of up to 60 minutes.

Emergency services are currently at the scene with reports of people being cut from the wreckages.
All three lanes have been closed and the hard shoulder is being used to allow vehicles to pass.

Traffic Scotland has advised that drivers approach with caution and allow for longer journey times.
