A GLASGOW singer-songwriter has landed a support slot with Rufus Wainwright.
Christy O’Donnell was hand-picked by the American-Canadian artist to open Saturday’s night’s show in Reims, near Paris, and will perform again on Tuesday night.
Christy, who is from Glasgow’s South Side, is currently in the French capital for rehearsals for a new Disney TV series.
He said: “Last night was one of the most surreal nights of my life, I supported one of my all time heroes and inspirations Rufus Wainwright.
“This was genuinely on my bucket list and now I can’t believe I have done it.”
