Four Toys R Us stores are to close in Scotland as part of plans to "better serve" customers in the future.
The retailer will shut at least 26 of its UK premises as part a company voluntary agreement (CVA), putting up to 800 jobs at risk.
Those to be hit in Scotland are Aberdeen, East Kilbride, Kirkcaldy and Livingston.
Steve Knights, managing director of Toys R Us UK, said: The vote in favour of the CVA represents strong support for our business plan and provides us with the platform we need to transform our business so that we can better serve our customers today and long into the future."
All stores across the UK will remain open for business until spring 2018.
The toy retailer said it will start consultations with employees in the new year.
CVA proposals were launched on Monday December 4 and approved by 98% of the company's creditors on Thursday.
