A pensioner who died following a road crash on an Ayrshire road has been named.
Mr Allan, from the Mauchline area, died in a crash on the B743 near to the Auchincruive Agricultural College between Whitletts roundabout, Ayr and Mossblown.
The 86-year-old's family have been informed and have requested that his first name is not released to the public.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
