A BODY has been pulled from the River Kelvin.
Police divers made the recovery at 2.40pm today.
Emergency services were first called to the scene near Queen Margaret Bridge following a report by a member of the public at around 1.10pm.
A police spokeswoman confirmed the death, adding that the person's identity would be publicly released after the family were notified.
Earlier, a man who lives nearby told the Evening Times he was taken aback to see the area taped off.
He said: "It was a bit of a shock. You don't see much trouble down there."
