THE lawyer who handled entrepreneur Michelle Mone’s divorce is said to be the victim of an alleged assault.
Tony Caplan, partner at law firm Levy and Macrae, was "punched on the head to his injury" by Ian Whitelaw.
It is claimed the alleged assault happened at a block of flats in Govanhill on August 5, 2017.
Whitelaw is also charged with assaulting his ex-partner Margaret Slater, who is connected to the family who run Slaters Menswear, on the same date.
Whiltelaw, 49, who lives in a property on the third floor of the building, also faces a charge of being in possession of cannabis.
The trial was due to go ahead at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday but was adjourned due to lack of court time.
