She’s gone down as possibly one of the most memorable X Factor contestants ever for a variety of reasons, namely her sense of style.
Now, though, Honey G has left TV audiences open-mouthed once again, this time for revealing a bold, new makeover.
Leaving behind her trademark tracksuit, cap and oversized glasses - as she took part in Channel 5’s Celebrity 100% Hotter - she emerged a new woman in a black dress and wraparound jacket with modern, smokey makeup and flowing extensions.

Many took to social media to praise Honey G - real name Anna Gilford - on her new look.

She even earned herself a new fan in Boy George who, in 2016, branded The X Factor “a joke” over her success on the show.
This time around, Boy George said: “How much better does Honey G look. Sack the glasses.”

The “genuine urban artist” was a breath of fresh air when she burst onto our screens in August 2016.
The female rapper left Simon Cowell flabbergasted with her take on Missy Elliott’s Work It, while Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger couldn’t resist a boogie.
However, Simon had to avert his eyes for much of her audition, which she jazzed up with crotch-grabbing.

In November last year, Honey G described herself as a victim of discrimination as she hit back at critics accusing her of “cultural appropriation.”
She divided opinions of music fans since reaching the final stages of the ITV competition, with some claiming that her choice of genre was offensive.
Shehit back: “I may not come from the ghetto. I may not have come from poverty, but I know what it’s like to come from the streets.”
