WE'VE all been there...
Those delicate mornings where you can't move an inch from your bed and only a takeaway will save you from impending doom.
Unfortunately, sometimes the hungover pangs strike earlier than expected and the local takeaway isn't serving food yet.
And the countdown to opening hours can be brutal...
One such incident was shared by south side eatery Surf Dogs.
The Kilmarnock Road based restaurant, which specialises in gourmet hot dogs, received a desperate plea from one broken customer yesterday afternoon.
A Just Eat delivery order read: "Ano you're not open yet but I'm so hungover I can't leave my flat so please come save me ASAP."
The emergency order consisted of a Texan dog, fries and dip, with an all important Capri Sun to wash it all down with.
Luckily Surf Dogs came to the rescue and responded with: "Good news ma friend, we ARE OPEN and we ARE DELIVERING.
"Your scran should be with you in minutes. Good luck with the hangover."
We bet this customer wasn't alone in their fragile state and hope Surf Dogs managed to rescue a few others!
