KENNY Miller’s wife has insisted that the pair “stronger than ever” despite a difficult year.

The 29-year-old said she and the Rangers star finished 2017 on a positive note, a few weeks after they were cited as court witnesses over a restaurant bust-up.

Laura posted on Instagram: "2017 has been one of the toughest we have ever went through as a family.

"Faced with tests and pressures we could never have imagined and hurt places deep in our hearts we never knew existed.

"But we came out the other end happy and healthy and together stronger than ever.

"I’m blessed to have a close tight group. 2017 ended on a massive high for us and I can’t wait for 2018 to bring more good times!"

The couple were called as witnesses for friend Billy Steele, 36, over a scuffle at Da Luciano’s in Bothwell, Lanarkshire.

After the fight 2016, Laura told a jury in October she was left with “footprints on her face”.

Hubby Kenny, 38, was also made to train with the Ibrox youth team when he was sidelined by former boss Pedro Caixinha.

Laura then faced online abuse after ‘liking’ an online report of Caixinha being sacked.
