POLICE are appealing for information after a pizza delivery man was robbed by a group of youths.

The incident took place in Toryglen in the early hours of Sunday, January 14 at 1am.

The 28-year-old man was attacked by a group of around six male youths on a footpath at Newfield Place near its junction of Corlaich Drive in Toryglen.

The six male youths, who were in the company of three females, punched and kicked him before stealing his blue Domino’s baseball cap and the keys to his silver coloured VW Polo car with the ‘Domino’s Pizza’ logo on it that was parked nearby.

Although the youths got into the car, they did not drive away with it and were last seen walking towards Ardnahoe Avenue.

When police arrived the 28-year-old man was found with slight cuts to his face and a nose injury however he did not attend hospital for treatment.

PC Mark McCallum at Helen Street Police Office would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident or who saw the group of youths hanging around the area either before or after the robbery took place.
