This is the moment a runaway lorry lost control in icy conditions in North Lanarkshire, sending pedestrians fleeing in fear.
The shocking clip shows the lorry lose control, strike a van, slide along the road and crash into a lampost which then topples over.
It is understood there were no injuries.
The video was shot in Glenmavis, a small village around two miles north-west of Airdrie.
Residents Bryan and Niki Blackhall filmed the jaw-dropping moment as it happened outside their home and posted it onto their Facebook page.
Nick wrote: “Runaway truck, lucky nobody was injured. This could have been a lot worse if it didn’t hit the wall.”
