He might be a Hollywood mega star but Gerard Butler hasn't forgotten where he came from.
The Paisley-born star has given his millions of fans a masterclass in Scottish slang.
In a video for popular magazine, Vanity Fair, the 300 star taught viewers a number of phrases including 'bevy' and 'steamin'.
Audiences can't get enough of the Scot, with the video racking up more than 900,000 views and over 28,000 shares on Facebook.
Vera Sideraki commented: "Please, VF, more Scottish Slang with Gerard. Every day. All day. It’s like a palate cleanser for our Trump-related desperation."
Another, Mark Mcghee, added: "Lol ye all needty visit Scotland the patter is great. And the slang is just part of yer culture. Even if ye don't mean. Glasgow and Ayrshire have the best ad would say."
