A MISSING pensioner has been found safe and well after a police search.
Margaret Hood, 69, was last seen by her family at her home in Kirkland Road, Darvel in Ayrshire at around 10.30am on Monday.
Ayrshire cops launched an appeal to trace her and confirmed on Tuesday she has been found.
A spokesman said: "Police Scotland can confirm Margaret Hood, missing from her home in Darvel since Monday, January 22 has been traced safe and well.
"Members of the public are thanked for sharing our information on this matter."
