One person has been taken to hospital after a fire in Glasgow's South Side.
Three crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a house on Manse Brae in Cathcart at around 7am on Tuesday.
Four people suffering smoke inhalation were treated by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
One of those casualties was then rushed to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Their condition is unknown.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to reports of a dwelling fire at 7am on Tuesday, January 23.
“Operations Control immediately mobilised three fire appliances to Manse Brae, Cathcart, where firefighters extinguished the fire.
“Four casualties suffering from smoke inhalation were passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“One of the casualties was transported to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service currently remains in attendance.”
