A CITY street has been cordoned off by police after part of the building collapse.
York Street is currently closed to pedestrians due to lose render falling onto the footpath.
Members of the public have been advised to use the other side of the street.
A spokesman for Glasgow City Council said: "Officers from our Building Control team are now dealing with the situation at York Street – loose render was falling from the building on to the footpath, so as a result the officers are keeping members of the public away from that section of the footpath and have instructed contractors to remove any other loose render.
"It is expected that the operation will be complete later tonight.
