Two dogs are looking for their forever home this Burns Night.
Staff at Dogs Trust Glasgow, near Uddingston, have described how man’s best friend played a big role in Robert Burns’ life. Now, ‘The Twa Dogs’ are looking for new families that will show them the love and companionship highlighted by the famous Burns tale.

The first dog, a Border Collie named Bindy, is three-years-old and is looking for an adult-only home with patient owners who will give her the space she needs to settle into her new surroundings.
Brogan is an eight-year-old Border Collie cross who enjoys her own space from time-to-time and would like to be the only pet in the household.

Claire Cairney, assistant aanager at Dogs Trust Glasgow, said: “We are hoping Burns’ enthusiasm and love for dogs will inspire potential owners to consider giving Bindy or Brogan a home this Burns Day.
“Owning a dog is one of the most rewarding things a person can do and who better to act as an advocate for the bond between dog and owner than one of the most respected Scotsmen in history.”
