COUNCIL bosses have issued a warning to road users after a City Centre road collapse.
Subsidence has forced Hope Street to be reduced to one lane, which could cause traffic congestion.
The closure is in a bus gate at the junction of Gordon Street and Bothwell Street.
A Glasgow City Council spokeswoman said the cause of the problem, which could be anything from utility works to basements under the road, will be investigated in the morning when it is light.
In the meantime, the subsidence has been fenced off for safety reasons.
