A West End restaurant is hosting its own version of Channel 4’s First Dates this Valentine’s - and the city’s lads are needed to step up to the plate.
The Hanoi Bike Shop in Ruthven Lane is turning the popular Vietnamese eatery into a love nest in the hope life-long connections will be made.

Applications from would-be lovers are already starting to flood in, including people who love dogs, an energetic Netflix lover looking for a running buddy, and someone looking for a “cheeky chappy” to have intelligent conversation with, said staff.

Now in its ninth series, the hugely-popular fly-on-the-wall TV show takes place in a restaurant to which singletons flock to in the hope to find love.
