STILL Game star Jane McCarry has spoken out about being sexually harassed by an old pervert at a Burns supper.

The Glasgow-born actress, who plays local gossip Isa Drennan in the hit BBC show, claimed a man at the Ayrshire event admitted trying to look up her skirt.

McCarry made the revelation online after Scots comedian Frankie Boyle tweeted about his experience of sexism in the industry in the wake of the Presidents Club scandal.

Replying to his post, she wrote: “At a Burn’s Supper in Mauchline with @MrMJCox an old toff kept putting his foot beside mine, I asked what he doing and without a hint of shame or embarrassment he said I’m trying to see a reflection of your ****. Vile.”

Fans reacted with shock.

Janes Somers replied: "Jane, that's awful. Sleazy git."

Conner Kerr added: "I never understand that, what makes people think it's ok to be so utterly repulsive. I wouldn't think it never mind have to audacity to say anything so gross to a woman."

The incident is believed to have taken place at the special Homecoming Burns Supper in Mauchline in 2009. The event, which marked the 250th anniversary of Rabbie’s birthday, saw Still Game co-star Mark Cox, who plays Tam in the series, give the traditional Toast to the Lassies, while Jane did the reply.

Boyle’s tweet expressed his disgust about an event where a guest harassed one of the performers on stage.

He posted: “I walked out of performing at a corporate once because a guest got on stage and slapped a female performer on the bottom.

“When I told the organiser I was leaving, they were genuinely baffled and explained, ‘It’s Christmas!’”
