OVER 20 acts have been announced for the King Tut's Stage at TRNSMT Festival 2018.

Homegrown talent including Nina Nesbitt and Kyle Falconer will be performing across the weekend.

The news follows Monday's addition of Arctic Monkeys, Lewis Capaldi, Friendly Fires and Interpol to the line-up.

A live street art stunt in Glasgow revealed the line-up earlier on Tuesday afternoon.

BBC Music Sound of 2018 winner Sigrid, Marmozets, Pale Waves, Anteros, Nina Nesbitt and The Sherlocks will be joining an immense amount of talent for TRNSMT’s second stage.

The full line-up also includes Tom Walker, IAMDDB, Walking on Cars, King No-One, Anteros, Kyle Falconer (full band), Dermot Kennedy, Jane Weaver, Sam Fender, The Snuts, Confidence Man, Ninth Wave, The Magic Gang, Gang of Youths, Island, Bas, and Juanita Stein.

These bands will all make their appearance on the King Tut’s Stage which aims to give fans a chance to see rising stars before they hit the big time.

Last year both Declan McKenna and Gerry Cinnamon played the stage and will now go on to play TRNSMT’s Main Stage in 2018.

Winning ‘Best New Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards, TRNSMT was heralded by fans and critics in its inaugural year for its incredible audience, atmosphere and perfect mix of international and local talent.
