TV star Dermot O’Leary is set to headline Ladies’ Night at Hamilton Park Racecourse this summer.

Fresh from hosting the National Television Awards, the presenter and Radio Two DJ has signed up to perform an exclusive DJ set at the Lanarkshire venue’s flagship event on Saturday, August 4.

Dermot, who became a household name as the host of ITV’s The X Factor, will be swapping his hosting duties to put in a performance of his own after the day’s racing, following appearances at Glastonbury, Latitude and Goodwood in recent years.

Vivien Currie, Chief Executive at Hamilton Park Racecourse, said: “We knew after the success of last year’s Ladies’ Night, we had set ourselves a challenge to live up to in 2018 - but we’ve pulled it out of the bag again.

“Dermot is an incredible DJ and we can’t wait to welcome him to the racecourse. Ladies’ Night is always a highlight of the year, full of glitz and glamour, and this year is no exception.”

EK, East Kilbride shopping centre has also been revealed as the event sponsor, while Capital FM’s Des and Amy will be returning to host the glamorous event, including the best dressed lady competition.

Vivien added: “We are delighted to have our partners EK, East Kilbride and Capital FM on board, and will be revealing more exciting details about what we have lined up for you in the weeks to come. It’s shaping up to be an unmissable night out.”

Each year, the stunning lawns and greens of Hamilton Park Racecourse are transformed into a cat-walk as women (and men) from across Scotland descend on the venue in their thousands.

Early bird tickets are on sale now at www.hamilton-park.co.uk, from just £25 for adults if booked before May 31.
