A QUAD bike rider was rushed to hospital after flipping over his handlebars during a car crash in Springburn.
Emergency services rushed to the scene close to the Star Five In One take-away on Broomfield Road at 6.20pm on Sunday.
The 28-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with serious injuries following the smash and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Police Scotland closed the road for four hours following the crash to carry out investigations.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Enquiries are continuing."
The Evening Times previously reported that dangerous thugs were keeping residents in nearby Milton up all night by roaring down residential streets in loud quad bikes.
It is understood that the monster machines are being used by criminal gangs in the North of Glasgow leaving many residents fearful over speaking out.
