Scotland is forecast to be hit with yet another dump of snow and ice this weekend as weather warnings have been issued across the country.
The Met Office has warned that their will be continuous snow showers and frequent heavy hail which may cause disruption to drivers from Saturday night right through to Sunday night.
As much as 10cm of snow is predicted to fall this evening in the West of Scotland before temperatures are set to plummet causing treacherous icy conditions over night and into Sunday Morning.
Travellers should expect longer journey times with the possibility of some vehicles becoming stranded.
A Met Office forecaster said: "Frequent, heavy hail and snow showers are expected through Sunday and will lead to snow accumulating on many surfaces.
"Longer journey times by road, bus and train services are likely while some vehicles could become stranded.
"Ice is likely to form on untreated pavements, cycle paths and roads leading to some injuries from slips and falls.
"Power cuts may occur and other services, such as mobile phones, may be affected."
