PLANS for the new class 385 electric trains for the main Edinburgh-Glasgow line could be put back further.
The reason for the potential setback is because drivers say they are unable to see signals properly from their cabs.
So far there has already been three delays to the new, faster trains, making them over a year late.
The new delay comes after the union Aslef voiced concerns over the safety of the new Hitachi engines.
It has been claimed that drivers had the impression of “looking through a fishbowl to view signals” during test runs.
