AN APPEAL has gone out to bikers to help form a guard of honour at the funeral of a teenager who died at just 16 years old.
Douglas Barclay tragically passed away last Thursday. It is understood the teenager, from Motherwell, suffered from West Syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy which causes prolonged and repeated seizures.
His heartbroken uncle Craig Morris issued an appeal on Facebook in a bid to organise a fitting tribute to his nephew, who loved motorbikes.
The procession will leave Scotia Street in Motherwell at 9.30am on Friday and will travel with Douglas to Holytown Crematorium.
