EX-FOOTIE stars are set to attend a charity golf day launched in aid of the Chris Mitchell foundation, which was set up for the footballer who tragically died at 27.
Former Celtic and Rangers players including Barry Ferguson, Kris Commons and Neil Lennon are expected to support the SPFL Trust’s golf day at The Carrick at Cameron House by Loch Lomond on Wednesday, May 23.
Mitchell, who played for Clyde, Queen of the South and Falkirk, tragically took his own life in May, 2016.
The foundation was launched to raise awareness around mental health and wellbeing for players.
