THE niece of missing man Mark Connolly has said her family are "extremely worried" about his disappearance.

Mark, 48, from the Haldane area of Alexandria was reported missing on Tuesday, February 13 by a family member.

It is, however.believe that the last possible sighting of him was around 4pm on Sunday, February 11 within the Haldane (Inler) Park.

His worried niece Carla Wallace said: "My uncle Mark Connolly (Alfie) has been missing since Friday.

"There has been no sightings of him by family or police, and we are all extremely worried.

"If anyone has seen him could they please get in touch."

The Evening Times understands that Police Scotland have deployed their specialist dog unit to help in the search for Mark.

Mr Connolly is described as around 5ft 10 inches, of slim build however possibly very slim at present, cropped very short dark hair and blue eyes.

When last seen he was believed to be wearing blue jeans, blue training shoes and a mustard coloured jacket. He has lost a significant amount of weight in the last few weeks so may appear thinner than usual to those who know him.

Anyone who has seen him since Sunday 11 February or anyone who knows of his present whereabouts is asked to contact police at Dumbarton via 101 quoting incident number 3528 of 13 February 2018.
