Claims have surfaced that an illegal brothel has allegedly been operating next door to a prominent Glasgow music venue.
The alleged business is said to be based in a tenement on Sauchiehall Street next to Nice N Sleazy.
A spokewoman for the bar said: "We are aware of the ongoing investigation into the activity next door.
"We have not, however, had interaction with any of the parties involved in the matter."
The building, which allegedly houses the brothel, borders another music venue, Broadcast, on its other side.
Police investigations are ongoing into the reports which surfaced about the city centre close yesterday.
Glasgow City Council have also been made aware of the alleged illegal activity.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Police have received complaints of anti-social behaviour at premises on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.
"Officers are currently looking into this."
