A HEARTBROKEN woman is devasated after losing her mobile which contained saved voice messages from her late partner.

Valerie Wardlaw lost her phone on Govan Road yesterday and lost hundreds of messages from her husband Irvine Wylie who died aged 39 in December.

The 44-year-old said the messages and photos are ‘irreplaceable’ and is in pieces that she will ‘never be able to hear his voice again’.

After losing her partner, Valerie, who is a full-time social care student at Strathclyde University, would listen to the audio messages as a ‘comfort’.

She posted on Facebook: "Those that know me something I never lose is my phone.

"At the weekend I dropped it on Govan Road and it was last tracked at Napier Terrace in Govan.

"This photo below is a screen shot of my partner and myself this was took before they switched it off.

"As my friends know my partner passed away in December.

"Although I have stuff backed up, I have around 100 audio messages from Irvine Wylie that aren't backed up.

"I'm totally devasted as this is all I have left of him. Could I ask people to share this and hopefully by the power of social media, someone will contact me who found this."
