POLICE are searching for a teenage girl who has been missing since Friday.

Maryann Crumlish from Corlic Street, Greenock, was last seen around 7pm on February 16 when she left her home.

The 15-year-old has not been in contact with her family since.

Maryann is described as 5ft 6 of slim build and pale complexion. She has black collar length hair and brown eyes.

When last seen she was wearing a green/blue hooded top, black ripped jeans and black trainers.

Officers have been checking CCTV and speaking to those that know Maryann to try and trace her.

Sergeant Chris McKay, Greenock Police Office said: “Maryann has gone missing before, however has always returned within a short space of time.

“As times goes on, ourselves and her family are becoming increasingly worried for her safety.

“We believe that she may be within the Greenock or Gourock area, possibly with friends, and would appeal to anyone who may have seen her, or have information about her whereabouts to get in contact with us.

"We would also appeal to Maryann herself, please get in touch with ourselves or to go home to your family and let them know you are safe.”

Anyone with any information regarding Maryann’s whereabouts should contact officers at Greenock Police Office via 101, quoting incident number 3375 of Friday 16 February 2018.
