ScotRail has apologised to passengers as engineers work to resolve the issue after a burst water pipe caused the problem at Kirkhill.
We’ve had to reduce our Edinburgh – Glasgow via Falkirk services to half hourly at the moment, these leave Queen St at 15 and 45 mins past the hour. Leaving Edinburgh at 00 and 30 mins past the hour. ^CT

Edinburgh-Glasgow via Falkirk High, Glasgow to Aberdeen, Glasgow to Anniesland, Glasgow to Cumbarnauld/Falkirk Grahamston and Glasgow to Edinburgh/Dunblane/Stirling and Alloa are all affected by the problem.
UPDATE: Water at #Kirkhill is flowing onto the overhead wires and has damaged brickwork on a bridge, which is why we’ve had to suspend train services on this route until it’s repaired. We’ll keep you updated throughout the morning. ^CT
