Grammy-award winning group The Pointer Sisters are the latest act to be announced for the Fiesta x FOLD Festival at Kelvingrove Park.
The group will be performing on the first day of the two-day festival alongside Nile Rodgers, Chic and Earth, Wind & Fire.
Glasgow's Kelvingrove Park will be hosting what is tipped to be the 'biggest party of the summer' on June 30 and July 1.
BBC Radio 6’s Huey Morgan will also be bringing his legendary NYC Block Party to the Fiesta x FOLD with Portishead’s Andy Smith, Keb Darge, The Reflex and Studio 54 icon Nicky Siano and his Hallelujah Disco with Live Gospel Choir.
The Pointer Sisters have had a career spanning four decades with tracks including Fire, Slow Hand, He’s So Shy, I’m so Excited, Automatic, Jump (for my love) and Neutron Dance.
A wide range of tickets for the event are on sale now, including VIP and Family tickets.
The event has also announced a ‘pay up scheme’ allowing music fans the opportunity to split the cost of their tickets over two instalments.
Further festival announcements are to be released soon.
