A DRUG dealer who was caught supplying more than £400,000 worth of cocaine in a Glasgow carpark has been jailed.

John McNeill was under police surveillance when he handed over the drugs to another man in March last year.

The courier was arrested in Dundee later that day and found with plastic bags containing cocaine worth £405,000.

McNeill's DNA was later found on the bags and police obtained a warrant to search his house in Glasgow.

Heroin worth nearly £75,000 was uncovered by officers along with a hydraulic press, cutting agents and other items used to process heroin to street level quality.

The 50-year-old, from Glasgow, admitted two charges of being concerned in supplying drugs and that the offences were linked with serious crime.

He was jailed for three years.
