A CRASH has caused chaos for drivers on the Clydeside Expressway.
A lorry flipped on its side entrance to the expressway.
Motorists were warned to expect delays following the incident earlier this afternoon at A814 high loop heading eastbound.
The high loop was closed while the vehicle was removed and diversions were in place at Sawmill roundabout.
Fire and rescue services were on the scene.
A spokesman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 2.31pm on Tuesday, February 20 to reports of a lorry which had overturned.
“Operations Control mobilised a number of fire appliances to the A814, close to the Clyde Tunnel.
“One casualty had been removed from his vehicle prior to the arrival of firefighters and was thereafter passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area had been made safe.”
Glasgow City Council's Traffcom urged drivers to take an alternative route during the disruption.
The road has since reopened.
