THERESA May has been accused of “butchering” Glasgow’s Jobcentres.
The UK Government closed six Jobcentres in the city with the last, Parkhead closing last week.
The Prime Minister was challenged in the House of Commons by Glasgow East MP David Linden to give a guarantee that no more would close in the city.

Mr Linden said during First Minister’s Questions: “Over the course of the last two months this government has butchered Glasgow’s Job centre network.
He asked: “Will the Prime Minister look me in the eye and tell me that no more Jobcentres in Glasgow are due for closure.”
Theresa May replied: “ What we are doing in relation to the jobcentre services ensuring there is going to be no decrease in the level of services that Jobcentres are offering people in Scotland.
“In fact were going to increase the number of work coaches to provide more support for people that need it.”
Earlier this month Mr Linden protested outside Easterhouse Jobcentre when it closed for the last time.
